SSC Selection Post Phase 9 Eligibility Criteria:
Nationality:
A candidate must be either:
(a) A citizen of India, or
(b) A subject of Nepal, or
(c) A subject of Bhutan, or
(d) A Tibetan Refugee who came over to India, before the 1 st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
(e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Age Limit: (as of 01/01/2021)
Minimum: 18 years
Maximum: 30 years
Relaxation is applicable as per the norms.

The selection process is based on
(i) Computer Based Test.
(ii) Typing/Data Entry/ Computer Proficiency Test.

The exam pattern for the SSC Selection post phase 9 recruitment 2021 is as follows.

Note:
- There will be 100 MCQ for 2 marks each.
- The duration of the test will be 60 minutes (1 hour) and 80 minutes for the candidates belonging to scribes.
- There will be a penalty of 0.50 marks for each incorrect answer.
- The level of questions will be as per the educational qualification required for the post.
Marks scored by candidates in Computer Based Examination will be normalized and such normalized scores will be used to determine final merit and cut-off marks.
SSC Selection Post Minimum Eligible Marks:
Candidates scoring less than cut-off marks as given below will not be considered for the next stage of SSC Selection process Phase 9 Recruitment 2021.
- UR: 35%
- OBC/ EWS: 30%
- Other categories: 25%
