The NIACL AO 2021 notification is out. Many of you have been eagerly awaiting the release of NIACL AO 2021 notification. NIACL has announced a total of 300 vacancies. The NIACL Recruitment 2021 is announced for Generalists posts.
NIACL AO 2021 exam preparation requires you to be thoroughly prepared and therefore it’s time to gear up and start full-fledged preparation with the right study plan. But even before you carry further with your preparation, an important aspect is to apply to the exam right at the earliest.
All the interested candidates can start applying for the post as soon as the link gets activated. The NIACL AO Prelims Exam is scheduled for October 2021.

Vacancy
NIACL has announced 300 vacancies for the post of Administrative Officer this year. All interested candidates can start applying for the same. The number of vacancies is provisional and is subject to change. The breakup of the vacancies is given below.

Eligibility Criteria
Before applying to the NIACL AO 2021 Exam, it is very important to gather all the necessary information and confirm your eligibility for the specified post.
| Educational Qualification (as on September 30, 2021) | A graduate from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks.55% for SC/ST/PWD |

You can apply to NIACL AO exam 2021 even if you await your final result. However, the result from the recognized university should be declared on or before September 30, 2021. You will also get the relaxation in the upper age limit as per the government guidelines.
Selection Procedure
NIACL will conduct online written examinations to select the eligible candidates for the post of ‘Administrative Officer’ which will be further followed by a personal interview. Therefore, the NIACL AO Exam Pattern 2021 will be held in three stages.
- Prelims (Objective) – Qualifying in nature
- Mains (Objective (200) & Descriptive (30)
- Interview
Prelims Exam Pattern
Please note that the NIACL AO Prelims exam is qualifying in nature i.e., the marks obtained in this exam will not be considered in making the final list. The pattern of the test will be as per the details given below.

Please Note: Candidates approximately 15 times the number of vacancies subject to availability will be shortlisted for the Main Examination.
Mains exam pattern
The NIACL AO Mains exam pattern for Generalists will comprise of four sections: Test of English Language, Test of Reasoning, Test of Quantitative Aptitude, and Test of General Awareness. All the sections will carry 50 marks each.

Please note that all the sections will be available bilingually except the test of English Language. The online test for NIACL AO will also consist of a negative marking of 0.25 marks.
Descriptive Test: A Descriptive Test of 30 minutes duration with 30 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing-10 marks & Essay-20 marks). The descriptive test will be in English and will be conducted online mode.
Please note that the descriptive test is qualifying in nature which means that the descriptive test will not be counted towards shortlisting for an interview or final selection.
Qualifying Criteria for Descriptive Test
Qualifying marks in the descriptive test shall be as follows.

Interview
After qualifying Mains exam, you will be shortlisted for the personal interview. Interview will be conducted at select centres. The weightage (ratio) of online Examination and Interview will be 75:25 respectively
Salary
If you are selected as an Administrative Officer in NIACL, your starting basic pay will be Rs. 32,795/- p.m excluding every perk and emoluments. Besides this, you will be eligible for other benefits such as coverage under the National Pension System governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. among others. Your initial monthly gross emoluments will be approx Rs. 60,000/ p.m in Metropolitan Centers.
The Officers are also entitled to Company’s / leased accommodation as per norms. The salary scales are due for revision w.e.f Aug 2017.
Application Process
As soon as the online application process for the Administrative Officer post commences, the candidates will have to follow some simple steps for successful application.
Step 1: Candidates need to go to the recruitment section of the NIACL Website i.e. http://newindia.co.in
Step 2: Click on “APPLY ONLINE” which will take you to a new screen.
Step 3: Click on the tab “Click here for New Registration” and register yourself by entering your name, contact details and email-id.
Step 4: A system-generated registration number and password will be given to the candidate via email and SMS.
Step 5: Log in with the system-generated registration number and password and fill in your application form.
Step 6: After successfully entering all the details, click on SAVE and NEXT options to verify the details you have entered.
Step 7: Candidates will be asked to upload a photo and signature. After fully verifying the details click on the FINAL SUBMIT BUTTON to submit your application. Please note that no modification will be done to the final submission.
After verifying all the details, it is now time for the payment. The candidate now needs to process and do the payment. After the payment, click on the submit button.
Guidelines for Uploading the Photograph
- The photograph dimensions must be 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm.
- The photograph must be clear and of passport size.
- The size of the photograph must be between 20KB – 50 KB.
Guidelines for Uploading the Signature
- The signature of the applicant must be clear and legible.
- The signature should only be done with either blue or black ink.
- The size should be between 10KB-20 KB.
Left thumb impression:
- The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on white paper with black or blue ink.
- File Size: 20 KB – 50 KB
Hand-written declaration:
- The handwritten declaration should not be written in CAPITAL LETTERS.
- File Size: 50 KB – 100 KB
- “I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
Application Fee
The candidates will be given online payment options and thus the fees will be paid in online mode only.
