IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2021
The IBPS RRB Notification will release very soon and all the candidates should have a thorough insight into the IBPS RRB Syllabus and pattern. The IBPS RRB Exam Pattern will be different for respective posts and the common element between them is that they all consist of preliminary Examination, mains Examination, and the interview process. Only the candidates who satisfy the eligibility criteria can attend the IBPS RRB Exam.
Nationality
Candidates applying for the IBPS RRB Exam must belong to the below Nationality
- A Citizen of India’
- A Subject of Bhutan
- A Subject of Nepal
- A Tibetan Refugee who permanently settled in India before 1962, January 1.
- A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Burma, Malawi, East African countries of Kenya, Sri Lanka, Uganda, Vietnam, Tanzania, Zambia, Pakistan, Zaire, Ethiopia permanently settled in India. Eligibility Certificate should be awarded to the above category by the Government of India.
Age Limit
There is an upper and lower age limit for the candidates who are going to apply for the upcoming IBPS RRB 2021 Exam. The candidates applying for the office assistant exam should fulfil the IBPS RRB clerk eligibility criteria age limit. Similarly, the candidates who apply for the officer scale 1 post should fulfil the IBPS RRB PO eligibility criteria age limit.

IBPS RRB Educational Qualification 2021
IBPS has several eligibility criteria for the candidates who are applying for the IBPS RRB Exam depending on the post. Candidates applying for the IBPS RRB Officer Scale I, II, and III and Officer Scale I exam must hold a degree in any discipline from a reputed institution. Educational qualification requirements for various posts is mentioned below:

IBPS RRB 2020 Eligibility Criteria: Candidates with Disability (PwD)
Candidates who suffer from disability( not less than 40 percent) certified by the medical board can apply for IBPS RRB Exam under the PwD category. PwD Category includes the following Candidates
- Candidates with the visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 in the better eye with correcting lens and field of vision subtending up to an angle of 20 degrees or worse.
- Deaf and Hearing Impaired means loss of sixty decibels or more in the better ear in the conversational range of frequencies. Such candidates experience total loss of hearing ability in both the ears.
- Orthopedically challenged candidates with a minimum of 40% percent locomotor impairment can apply for the IBPS RRB Exam.
Guidelines for Scribes:
Visually Impaired candidates who could not write by themselves can use their own scribe:
- Candidates should arrange scribe with their own cost
- There is no particular academic stream for the scribe
- Both the Candidate and scribe should fulfill the eligibility criteria by the RRB.
- The Scribe should not be a candidate of IBPS RRB Exam
- Extra 20 Minutes will be given for candidates with scribes.
