RBI Grade B Phase 2: Last Few Days Preparation Tips

RBI Grade B exam aspires to be one of the toughest exams in the country. Immense hard work, dedication, and constant practice are the essentialities required to crack this exam. RBI Grade B Phase 2 exam is scheduled for March 31/ April 1, 2021. Just a couple of days are left for your second battle and the importance of this time cannot be undermined. And guess what else cannot and should not be undermined? Time Management. That’s right. The best part about time management is that it drastically reduces tension and calms you down even in stressful moments during exams. It increases your productivity as you know just how much time you should devote to each question.

Organize your time

The organization helps eliminate stress. It helps you devise a better strategy. Start organizing your to-do list at least a whole month in advance before your exam.  Set realistic goals and organize your time for the upcoming days and weeks so you know exactly what to study, and when to study it. By doing this, you will have a clear picture of how much time you should devote to each subject and topic. This way, you will be able to organize your time and manage it better.

Analyze your requirements

Cracking this exam is not just about effective study. It is also about studying according to your needs and requirements and deciding the best strategy for you. Analyze how much time you require for your studies, your sleep, and other miscellaneous activities. Based on this analysis, cut down on the time you spend on unnecessary activities and make more time for your studies. But make sure that making time for your studies does not impinge on your other activities. Sleep is just as important and so are other activities you do in a day. So, analyze your requirements and strike a healthy balance.

Prioritize your subjects

The best way to manage your time is by prioritizing your subjects and allotting time to them accordingly. Devote less time to your strong areas and more time to weaker areas. This way, you are able to take a proactive step in determining how to go about your preparation. This also helps you manage your time better.

Prepare a schedule

The most important, yet extremely hard thing to do in terms of time management is preparing a time-table for the last days. Stick to a balanced and simple schedule.  Set a study schedule and plan out a timing you can commit to.

Examine papers and mock tests from previous years

You must have completed several practice sets and mock tests by this point. At this late hour, it is recommended that you should not take any additional mock tests. Rather, you should examine the mock tests you’ve taken and identify your strong points. By reviewing previously completed practice papers and mock tests, you will not only brush up on your preparations but also learn which topics and areas you excel at and which you should avoid when taking the exam.
